Top four freeride routes

There are few feelings like cruising through fresh powder. The glacier ski resort on the Kitzsteinhorn mountain is blessed with great snow cover thanks to its altitude of nearly 3,000 metres above sea level.
XI Ice Age
- Length: 2,000 metres
- Vertical drop: 600 metres
X2 Westside Story
- Length: 2,800 metres
- Vertical drop: 700 metres
X3 Left Wing
- Length: 1,800 metres
- Vertical drop: 500 metres
X4 Pipe Line
- Length: 1,300 metres

Staying safe in the mountains

The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier has an Info Base and a series of Info Points where skiers and snowboarders keen to head off-piste can get all the latest updates when it comes to weather, snow conditions and avalanche risk. The Info Points are located at the start of each freeride route and provide details on the terrain and the best lines.

Our partner Ski Dome Oberschneider has a team of qualified and experienced guides who will be happy to accompany you on your adventures into the mountains.
