The Alpin Vital SPA & Kosmetik is our treatment area and here you will find a wide range of beauty and wellness treatments (massages, facials etc). There are 17 treatment rooms available and our team of professionals will be delighted to pamper you with quality natural cosmetics and the latest beauty products. The Alpin Vital SPA & Kosmetik centre is on the 1st floor through the glass passageway in the direction of SPA Water World. 

In order to make use of the baby phone service you will receive a cordless phone that works like a baby phone. Please see reception staff for information on how to use this. Hotel reception can also arrange a babysitter for your children. An additional charge applies. Please ask at the reception for more information.

The banks in Kaprun – the Raiffeisenbank and Salzburger Sparkasse – are generally open Monday to Friday from 8.30 am – 12.00 pm. Some banks may have slightly different opening times. At reception you can pay by debit card. The next international ATM can be found on the ground floor of the hotel and one in the entrance area of the SPA.

For the duration of your stay in our hotel we provide you with a TAUERN SPA bathing bag with bathrobes, towels and slippers. If the bathrobe does not fit or if you need additional towels, please contact the staff at the reception or call the housekeeping on extension 3020. You are welcome to buy the bathrobe for € 55 and the bathing bag for € 25.

The TAUERN SPA has well-maintained trekking bikes, mountain bikes or e-bikes. These can be borrowed for the whole or half day for a fee. The staff at the hotel reception will be happy to advise you for precise price information as well as information on bike routes and paths.

If you are traveling with your own bike, you can use our bike service point - after entering the underground car park - to wash your bike or to carry out minor repairs. Our bike partner Intersport Bründl will be happy to provide you with expert advice.

You will find private bicycle boxes in our hotel garage. The rental fee is € 10 per day and per box. Please ask for the key for the bike box at the hotel reception.

In the youth room in the basement, you have the opportunity to play billards. The billard table costs €1 per game. You can exchange money at the reception. The necessary accessories are available free of charge at the hotel reception.

On the day of departure, we ask you to vacate your room by 11 am at the latest. The SPA Water & Sauna World can, however, be used until the end of the bathing period at the special price of € 21 per adult and € 10.50 per child. You can hand in your luggage free of charge at reception and find changing facilities in the first basement. Please do not forget to exchange your transponder. There is also the option of extending the stay in the room at an additional cost until 3:00 pm or 6:00 pm, depending on availability.

At the children’s SPA Kidstein, both indoors and outdoors, there are slides, pools and activity programmes. There is a room for youngsters in the lounge behind the fireplace called “Chill Out” with TV, electronic games or table football (€ 1,-) and board games can be rented against deposit.  
We are happy to supply children’s amenities and equipment (bottle warmers, etc.). Please ask about this at the hotel reception on extension 3000.

You are very welcome to bring your four-legged friend with you to the TAUERN SPA. Please note that for hygienic reasons your dog is not allowed to enter the restaurant area, the SPA Water & Sauna World or the Hotel Panorama SPA. Different rules apply to assistance dogs. We charge a cleaning fee of € 32 per day. You also have the opportunity to use our dog washing area which is located in the ski cellar. It is located in the first basement of the main building or on level 10 if you are in the room category “nature”. Direct access from the underground car park is also possible.

Whether you follow a vegan or vegetarian diet or have specific food intolerances, we want you to feel completely comfortable during your stay. We are happy to accommodate your individual dietary needs upon request. Ideally, please inform us before your arrical or at check-in so we can best cater to your requirements. 

Please do not wear bathing and training clothes in the Hotelrestaurant Lichtblick. Please note that street shoes are not allowed in the Hotel Panorama SPA, in the Hotel SPA Gletscherblick and in the SPA Water and Sauna World – please wear bathing shoes or use shoe covers, which are available at the hotel reception. 

Next to the entrance to the TAUERN SPA there is a charging station for electric cars. The station has two Type 2 Mode 3 charging connectors with 22 kilowatts each. The electricity comes 100% from renewable energy sources.

In the underground garage there are eight stations with a charging capacity of 11 kilowatts each.

The voltage in your room is 220. You may use electric shavers, hair dryers, electric toothbrushes, mobiles and Notebooks. For legal reasons, it is not possible to use any other equipment that is not part of the hotel’s own standard equipment.

There are fire extinguishers on all floors. Please familiarise yourself with the escape exits. There is an escape exit plan in all the rooms. 

Our gym with cardio and weight machines is open for you daily from 7 am – 10 pm. Access from 15 years.

Reception staff will be pleased to help you with ordering bouquets. Please let us know what you would like and we’ll inform you about the costs and possibilities.

Instead of the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card, we offer you the Guest Card, which provides numerous discounts on a variety of attractions, experiences & destinations. For example: 10% off entry to the Sigmund Thun Gorge, the high mountain reservoirs, the lakeside beach in Zell am See, or panoramic boat tours on Lake Zell.

Additionally, the Guest Card automatically serves as a Mobility Card, allowing you to explore the Zell am See-Kaprun region and the entire Pinzgau area for free from May 1 to October 31.

Whether homemade jam, stone pine pillows or fine brandies, at our hotel reception you are sure to find a stylish souvenir to make your loved ones at home or yourself happy. Please ask our staff at the hotel reception.

The Zell am See – Kaprun golf course is very close. There are other golf courses in Mittersill and Saalfelden within a radius of 20 to 30 kilometres. We would be happy to help you reserve tee times.

We attach high importance to the satisfaction of all of our visitors and therefore ask you to report any defects or suggestions to reception immediately. We will of course take care of your request immediately. Please tell us your opinion in the feedback sheet that you will receive by email after departure.

The region offers a unique hiking experience. Hiking maps are available from reception.

Hiking sticks and Nordic walking poles can be rented for free at the reception.

As guests of the hotel you are welcome to make use of our exclusive Hotel Panorama SPA on the 3rd floor of the hotel. Here you can relax and treat yourself to some refreshments. It is open from 8.00 am – 10.00 pm and is consists of the glassed Skyline Pool, a fireside lounge, two panoramic saunas and a steam bath. Please note that entry is permitted to persons from the age of 15. We look forward to your kids’ visit to the children’s Kidstein SPA where our mascot Kitzi will be waiting for them!

In the Hotel SPA Gletscherblick you can relax in the impressive new glass panorama pool, Gletscherblick sauna and the invigorating frozen mist walkthrough. It is open from 8.00 am –09.00 pm and will delight families in particular, because it also welcomes children. It offers stunning views of the Kitzsteinhorn and the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern.

Wi-Fi can be used free of charge throughout the hotel, just accept our terms and conditions.

We have our own in-house ironing service (an extra charge applies). Please ask at reception or call the housekeeping on extension 3020. 

The transponder / chip bracelet is personally coded for you for the duration of your stay. It opens only your room and gives you access to the entire TAUERN SPA Water and Sauna World. You can have consumptions and services booked to your room without cash. Please return the transponder to the reception upon departure. If you want to extend your stay, please have the transponder reprogrammed at the hotel reception. If you lose the transponder, contact the hotel reception immediately and personally. Please understand that we have to charge a fee of € 20 for the reissue.

We have a laundry and ironing service at the hotel (an extra charge applies). Please contact the hotel reception with your request on extension 3000. You will also find the price list in your room. 

A selection of books can be found in the fitting room right next to the fireplace. You are welcome to borrow books for your stay from there free of charge.

A map and information about the Zell am See-Kaprun region and the “Hohe Tauern National Park” are available at the hotel reception.

If you have lost or found any belongings, please contact staff at the hotel reception.

Please contact reception staff for luggage service. We can always keep your luggage for you in our secure luggage storage area on your arrival or on your day of departure.

For legal reasons we are not allowed to give guests any kind of medication. Our staff in the hotel reception can give you information about which doctor/pharmacist is on duty. 

Messages which arrive for you at reception will be delivered to you in your room.

Our guest bedrooms are fitted with a mini bar and are filled with non-alcoholic drinks which are replaced daily free of charge.

You have a selection of newspapers at the hotel reception. Other newspapers and magazines can be purchased at the TAUERN SPA Shop by Intersport Bründl located in the entrance area of the SPA. 

Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. You can however smoke in front of the hotel entrance or on our terrace in front of the hotel bar. There are also ashtrays on the balconies which you are entitled to use. Cigarettes can be purchased from our automatic cigarette machine.

You can pay by cash in Euro, by EC/debit card or by MasterCard, VISA, Diners & AMEX credit cards.

If you require additional pillows or blankets, please contact hotel reception on extension 3000.

You can leave mail for posting at the hotel reception. It will be sent the following day.

Different radio stations are integrated on your TV. For more detailed information please consult the directions for use or ask our staff at reception. 

The nearest station at Kaprun is 1.2 kilometres from the hotel. Of course, we can arrange a transfer for you and would ask you to tell reception if you need this service. Zell am See station is about 5 kilometres away, we can book a taxi for you. The nearest bus stop for Zell am See or Kaprun is 300 metres away. You will get all the information you need from reception.

Our hotel reception is open 24 hours a day and our staff can be reached by extension 3000. Our TAUERN SPA team is always pleased to help.

Between 8 am and 5.30 pm your room will be cleaned by our cleaning team. If you hang the red "do not disturb card" on the door, the room will not be cleaned – thank you for your understanding. If you would like a specific time for the room cleaning, please contact our housekeeper 3020 or the hotel reception 3000.

On request, we can serve breakfast in your room from 7 am – 11 am, food and drinks from 11 am – 8.30 pm. From 8.30 pm – 11 pm we offer snacks from our hotel bar. An extra charge applies. Please contact us on 3250 for the restaurant or 3000 for the reception.

Every hotel room has a safe, which is located in the closet. You can find the instructions for this directly on the safe. Please understand that we cannot accept liability for money or valuables that are left unlocked in your room. Safes are also available at the hotel reception for larger valuables.

The nearest service station is about 1km away at the resort boundary at Kaprun.

Visit Bründl Sports directly in the hotel at the public entrance to the SPA Water & Sauna World, which stocks the latest swimwear and daily newspapers. The next grocery store SPAR is approx. 300 m away. Further shops and stores are located in the center of Kaprun, which is approx. 1 km away. To buy the latest fashion fashions, we recommend you visit Moreau Fashion & Sports. You can find sportswear at Bründl Sports. Both shops are located in the center of Kaprun.

For your comfort, use our lockable ski cellar with heated drying rods. It is located in the basement of the hotel in the area of the underground car park. You can also hire ski depots. The price is € 12 per day (depot for 2 skis). 

Additionally, we offer exclusive discounts at Bründl Ski Rental:

You can have your ski pass issued at the hotel reception. We will also inform you about ski courses and slope conditions. At our ski partner Intersport Bründl in Kaprun, you receive a 10% discount on ski rental.

Within our TAUERN SPA Inclusive Services you have free entrance to the SPA Water & Sauna World with its 12 different outdoor and indoor pools plus an extensive sauna landscape with 10 different saunas and steam baths. The SPA Water & Sauna World also has its own children’s SPA, the Kidstein, a panoramic fitness area and diverse quiet rooms for relaxation. From the main building, the SPA Water and Sauna World is accessible either via the passage on the 2nd basement floor (glass lift) or via the glass passage on the 1st floor of the hotel. This passage can be reached via level 40 for guests of the “nature room” category. Please note that the SPA water and sauna world may only be entered with bathing shoes.
