TAUERN SPA Zell am See - Kaprun – your Base Camp for expeditions both inwards and outwards

Alongside  Base Camp inclusive services and expeditions that are integrated into the packages, the TAUERN SPA Zell am See – Kaprun also offers other spectacular and interesting expeditions into the surrounding mountains. For all of these expeditions, the word QUALITY is always written in big letters; we only ever employ the best trained guides and keep group sizes small.

Ski instructors and mountain guides with national qualifications for action expeditions and certified National Park rangers for our nature expeditions. We have chosen our partners carefully – Kaprun Ski Dome and Hohe Tauern National Park –in order to offer you the very best.

In addition to the information in brochures and from Reception, at the Base Camp there is weekly information on events with guides. Queries and special requests can be dealt with here without any difficulty at all.

Tip:

Expeditions are not courses and require a certain level of expertise. If you are interested in doing a course (skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking), you can book directly at Reception. These expeditions are not included in the price and the additional fee would need to be paid the evening before at Reception when reserving your expedition. The feasibility of some expeditions depends to a large extent on the weather, thus programme alterations may be at short notice.

Minimum participation 4 persons;
Maximum participation 8 persons; if there are more than 8 persons the group will be split and an additional guide will lead a group.
 

Nature expeditions

Nature expeditions with National Park rangers are now being developed and will be available very shortly. You can expect a unique range of expeditions involving observation of wild animals (from bearded vultures to the ibex); show shoe hikes in fairy-tale woodland and lots more!
